The Los Angeles County Homelessness and Housing Map shows interim housing permanent supportive housing that currently exists or is being developed in LA County. This includes sites under construction, and in the planning and development phases. This tool enables the user to view these developments geographically and in the context of Point in Time Homeless Count population data from January 2020.
The data-driven planning tool shows newly constructed projects, as well as sites in the planning and development phases. These are then overlaid with geographic data that shows where the County’s homeless population live, based on the Homeless Count. The map does not currently show apartment units being rented by people who receive public rental assistance, which account for about half of the County’s overall permanent supportive housing stock.
