Emphasizing that collaboration is key to solving homelessness, Los Angeles County convened leaders and stakeholders across the homeless services system to strengthen partnerships and harness their collective expertise.
More than 350 of these partners came together at the 2024 Homeless Initiative Summit.
Hosted by the LA County Homeless Initiative, the summit brought together elected officials, people with lived experience, and leaders of LA County departments and agencies, local jurisdictions, nonprofit service providers, philanthropy and advocacy.
Supervisors Lindsey Horvath, Holly Mitchell and Hilda Solis, as well as Compton Mayor Emma Sharif and LA County CEO Fesia Davenport were among the attendees. Summit panelists included representatives from LA County, the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA), PATH, United Way, Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, Volunteers of America, Social Justice Partners LA, and the Lived Experience Advisory Board.
