Rehousing LA is shining a light on some of our homeless services providers and telling their stories.
Get to know Pamela, a vocational case manager at St. Joseph Center. And Scott, a peer specialist at the VA.
There’s also Juana, an outreach case manager with HOPICS, and Giuliana, the associate diretor for housing location at Union Station Homeless Services.
They are just a few of the many people on the frontlines of Los Angeles County’s homeless services system, which has grown dramatically with funding from Measure H, a quarter-cent sales tax aproved by County voters in 2017 to create the first and only funding stream dedicated to addressing and preventing homelessness.
Rehousing LA, a joint project of the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority and the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation also includes a fact sheet about the causes of homelessness, and progress in addressing the crisis.
