Thanks to the efforts of homeless agencies and the Los Angeles County Development Authority, Maisha now has a home of her own.
Firestone Phoenix is a 44-unit development, which includes 36 supportive housing apartments for formerly homeless households.
Twenty of the supportive housing units are for veterans who are homeless, chronically homeless, or homeless with a disability. Sixteen other units are for formerly homeless households. Another seven apartments are for low-income families and one is a manager’s unit.
