Los Angeles County has received a $428,819 award of additional funding for Project-Based Vouchers (PBV) under the Veteran Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) program. This award will allow the Housing Authority of the County of Los Angeles (HACoLA), in partnership with the Los Angeles County Housing Development Corporation, to move forward with the construction of Francsiquito Veterans Apartments. This community, located in the city of West Covina will be the future home to 52 homeless veterans and their families. This VASH award is noteworth, in that the vouchers were awarded through a national competitive process.
