Los Angeles Times reporter Emily Alpert Reyes reports on what she describes as “a rare effort by L.A. County to marry predictive modeling — a tool used to forecast events by tracking patterns in current and historical data — with the deeply personal work of homelessness prevention.” Roughly 150 people have gone through or are now participating in L.A. County’s Homeless Prevention program, partially funded through Measure H.
