Larry Williams is a veteran who became homeless after a divorce at age 50 and lived on the streets for two years. A routine visit to the Veterans Affairs office prompted him to apply for a voucher. Two months later, LACDA helped him move into an apartment in Lancaster using VASH and HIP. “Seek the assistance,” he urges veterans still struggling with homelessness.
