A Mission-Driven Clinic Opens in Skid Row

Officials celebrated the opening of a new health clinic at the Union Rescue Mission operated by the Department of Health Services. The clinic provides primary and urgent care services and expects to serve 4,000 patients annually.

Safe Landings for the Journey Home

Governor Gavin Newsom joined local officials to tour the Safe Landing community in South L.A. The State of California donated 10 trailers to temporarily house local families experiencing homelessness until permanent housing is secured.

A Safe Landing for Unhoused Families

The first of 10 trailers sent by Governor Gavin Newsom arrived in L.A. County to help alleviate California’s homeless crisis. The trailers will temporarily house 10 homeless families with children who are currently living on the streets.
