Another class has graduated from a Los Angeles County program that allows people to learn and earn.
Careers for a Cause is an 8-week training program that connects LA County residents with lived life experiences such as homelessness, justice system involvement, and other marginalization’s to hands-on, paid training, and job placements in the social services sector, including in the homeless services industry.
Participants receive case management support, supportive services, and necessary tools for economic self-sufficiency and re-entry to employment. C4C has expanded countywide, wiith funding from the American Rescue Plan Act.
