This 27th Quarterly Report highlights significant developments underway at the Homeless Initiative, including the implementation actions in response to the Board of Supervisors’ declaration of a State of Emergency on January 10, 2023, the launch of the County’s encampment resolution initiative Pathway Home, the 2023 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count, and more.
The report captures data starting from July 1, 2017, when Measure H funding first became available, through June 30, 2023, the most recent quarter for which data is available.
The report also tracks progress from July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023, representing the full fiscal year (FY) 2022-23.
Since Measure H revenue began funding Homeless Initiative strategies, the County’s Homeless Rehousing System has provided permanent housing to 99,905 people and interim housing to 137,656 people.
These include 37,137 permanent housing placements (37.5%) and 72, 418 interim housing placements (52.6%) funded completely or partially with Measure H.
