When the L.A. Marathon races from the Stadium to the Sea on Sunday, February 14, dozens of Los Angeles County employees will be lacing up and hitting the streets for fun, exercise and to benefit good causes. Among them will be Fernando Landeros of the Department of Mental Health, who is dedicating his run to an organization called Back on My Feet, which helps the homeless through running. Watch as he works out with homeless residents and other volunteers before dawn on a recent workday.
