A message from Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean C. Logan

Every member of our community has a voice that deserves to be heard, including people experiencing homelessness.

We want to be sure every eligible resident has an opportunity to not only register to vote, but also cast their ballot. That’s why for the upcoming Presidential Primary Election, we are bringing voting to some of our most vulnerable residents.

With the new voting experience coming to L.A. County, my team has expanded on our 950+ vote centers and will set up Flex Vote Centers. These Flex Vote Centers are aligned with grassroots programs where people experiencing homelessness can cast their ballot. Flex Vote Centers have the same equipment and services found in a traditional vote center, including same-day registration. They will be scheduled at different locations throughout the County every day starting Saturday, February 22 through March 2, 2020. These sites will serve our most vulnerable residents. Most voters should visit the vote center most convenient for them.

It’s our goal to make voting accessible and convenient for all L.A. County
voters.

… Registered voters that have been determined to be unhoused will have an opportunity to vote at Flex Centers in Los Angeles County.

People helping people

Leading up to every election, the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk partners with community-based organizations to educate and register people to vote.
