Project Roomkey Moves an Encampment

Under the supervision of LA Family Housing, 46 high-risk people who had been living at a freeway underpass were placed in the safe environment of a local hotel.

A second community has sprung  up in South L.A. to temporarily house families experiencing homelessness. The trailer-homes were delivered by the State in partnership with the County and City of Los Angeles to help those on the journey home.

A Mission-Driven Clinic Opens in Skid Row

Officials celebrated the opening of a new health clinic at the Union Rescue Mission operated by the Department of Health Services. The clinic provides primary and urgent care services and expects to serve 4,000 patients annually.
